Project
Vienos dienos atostogos (One Day Holiday) offers curated walking tours through the architectural gems of interwar Kaunas — the second biggest city in Lithuania that stands as a living museum of European Art Deco. The client, a passionate local guide, shares the stories behind the facades: personal histories, cultural shifts, and the legacy of a city that thrived during the interwar years.
The goal was to design a logo that captures the elegance and spirit of this unique cultural experience. Inspired by the geometric lines and ornamental details of Art Deco, the logo reflects the city’s rich architectural heritage. It also carries a sense of movement and curiosity — an invitation to explore, observe, and connect with the past.
In 2023, Kaunas earned World Heritage status as the only European city representing large-scale urbanization during the interwar period through its versatile modernist architecture.
This identity celebrates that legacy — offering a visual bridge between the historical grandeur of Kaunas and the intimate storytelling of guided urban exploration.
